Ticket To Ride?
London Major Boris Johnson came in for a chat recently. I suppose it was meant to be about his first year in office but, us being Heart Breakfast, I couldn’t resist asking some of the more pressing questions that our listeners wanted me to put to him.
He said he’d have a look at the traffic flow system in the Blackwall Tunnel, he agreed that there weren’t enough night buses, and he seemed genuinely taken with the suggestion of Hunkback Rides. This is a service for women, mainly, for when their stiletto clad feet are hurting their pretty little toes and they need a lift (fireman’s or other) from a handsome young buck. At least Boris has the height for it.
